BRAX WINDOW TREATMENTS - 5 YEAR WARRANTY POLICY

Thank you for purchasing from Brax Window Treatments, a family owned and operated business manufacturing and retailing a range of internal and external awnings, blinds, curtains and security products.

These are details of our warranty, which is provided to the original purchaser, for a period of five years, from the date of installation.

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

WHAT’S COVERED:-

  • Brax products are covered for defects in materials, workmanship or failure to operate

  • Internal mechanisms, components & brackets, operational cords

  • Fabric delamination

Defective products or components will be repaired or replaced.

WHAT’S NOT COVERED:-

  • Any conditions caused by normal wear and tear

  • Abuse to the products, such as alterations, accidents or misuse

  • Failure to follow instructions on proper use, cleaning or maintenance.

Products supplied and installed by Brax may also be covered under additional warranty terms provided by the original manufacturer or component supplier including, but not limited to, the following:-

SOMFY® Automation Products – 5 years

CRIMSAFE® Security Doors & Screens – 10 years
Fabric Awnings – between 5 to 10 years on fabric depending on original fabric

To the extent permitted by law, Liability is limited to repair or replacement. The cost of removal and reinstallation is excluded. Brax may charge a fee for this.

To obtain warranty service, please contact Brax Window Treatments with proof of payment of the full purchase price.
