Depending on what you have chosen – many of our products are manufactured in our South Geelong factory, or sourced from other reputable Australian suppliers.
We do have a range of products that are fully imported – such as our Soft Shades and our Plantation Shutters
As all of our products are custom made, to suit our individual customers, we recommend you allow around 3 - 4 weeks for manufacture and installation. We always endeavour to keep our waiting times to a minimum, however at certain peak times of year, such as Christmas or Summer, you may have to wait a little longer.
If you have ordered any of our imported range, such as our Plantation Shutters, you need to allow longer as these products come in from overseas.
It does depend on the style of blind chosen, and how the blind is installed. If you have selected a block out fabric it will not allow any light or UV to penetrate, however you may get some light gap around the sides or the top of the blind. It is something best discussed with our consultants, as every home we visit is different.
Something fitted externally, such as an external awning is the most efficient form of sun protection – preventing sun from hitting the glass, and therefore reducing the amount of radiant heat entering your home (or office). External awnings can prevent up to 75% of heat gain in Summer – which can mean significant savings on your cooling costs.
